Behind Josh (in the upper left hand corner of the picture) are the front steps. To the left of the steps, the stone extends up another 1-2 feet, then nothing. To the right of the front steps, nothing but rubble. This was their Scout building, and I'm told that it takes winds of over 200 mph to take a stone and granite structure down like it did the night of May 4th.

Thank you for all you have done for the "Scouts Helping Scouts" effort! Please remember - if in the Northland tonight, stop on by! We have a Collection Point from 5:30PM - 6:15PM, then a Court of Honor afterwards.

Yours in Scouting,

Jeffrey A. “Yogi” Cook
Scoutmaster, Boy Scout Troop 900
North Oak Christian Church
9900 North Oak Trafficway
Kansas City, MO 64155
Heart of America Council, BSA
scouter@kc.rr.com
" . . .
