8:30 a.m. Meet at the Church – Load Trailer

9:15 a.m. Depart for Liberty Memorial

10:00 a.m. Tour Liberty Memorial

12:00 noon Lunch

1:00 p.m. Depart for Longview Lake/set up camp

6:00 p.m. Dinner

8:00 p.m. Campfire

10:00 p.m. Crackerbarrel

10:30 p.m. Lights out

7:00 a.m. Rise & Shine

7:30 a.m. Breakfast

8:30 a.m. Break Camp

9:00 a.m. Depart for home. Scouts should be delivered home by 9:30a.m.

FOOD: We will be cooking all meals in Patrols. Be sure to eat breakfast at home Saturday morning.

COST: $18.00 per person which includes Liberty Memorial ticket and food on the campout. Families are also invited to tour the Memorial at $9 per person.

BRING: Bring merit badge materials if you are working on Citizenship in the Nation, sleeping bag, pad and change of clothes. Bring appropriate gear for a September campout.

ALL SCOUTS ARE TO WEAR THEIR TROOP 42 T-SHIRT TO THE CAMPOUT.

PARENTS: We need several parents for this campout to help with transportation.

Please be prepared to sign up for the campout at Monday night's meeting. Since we are collecting money for patrol cooking, cash is preferred. Paying by check makes it difficult to divide the money for patrol cooking.

We will discuss the itinerary in greater detail Monday. Let me know if you have any questions.
