Checks need to be made payable to: “Quivira Scout Council”, with the comment line “Troop/Pack 211 Relief Fund.” All donors will receive a Thank You Letter from the Quivira Scout Council in Wichita. All who donated during Phase 1 began receiving their donation letters on Monday . . .

An official update will be coming later today, when the date of the Caravan to Greensburg is decided. It will be either Tuesday, June 26th – or Wednesday, June 27th! ALL ARE INVITED TO TAKE PART IN THE CARAVAN!!! Please be flexible, and know that we will probably be on the road by 5:45AM that day. It is a 540-mile roundtrip, and we will be coming back the same day. If you are interested in joining this worthwhile trek, please email me at scouter@kc.rr.com. We also need a person to pull the 2nd Trailer - a 16-foot converted horse trailer - twin-axle. This trailer is EXTREMELY HEAVY, as it is full of equipment suitable for a Troop of 35 Scouts. The vehicle that pulls this trailer MUST be an F-250 Class vehicle or above. It is located at Red Bridge United Methodist Church, and we will pick it up on the way to Greensburg. If you are available to pull the trailer, please let me know as soon as possible.
